What We Learned at the On Air Pop Up Shop

What We Learned at the On Air Pop Up Shop

When you're building a brand, the first public event feels like a big league for us. It was the On-Air Pop-Up hop hosted by Miramiraonair. We sell clothing, host local gaming events and promote creative culture. So being in a space that celebrates artistry and community was the perfect fit. Still, there's always that question. Will people show up? Will the vibe feel right?

The Real Situation

This was our first time stepping out from behind the scenes to a physical space. The goal was simple, connect with people face to face, share what we've been working on and learn what resonates. What events come with their own challenges, logistics, crowd energy and making sure your booth feels inviting.

What we tried

We focused on presentation and engagement. From our tastefully staged clothing racks to our arcade style gaming area. Our table was set up to showcase both our brand and our love for gaming and anime community. It was almost impossible to not strike up a conversation with everyone who stopped by! We learned more into conversation Then hard selling, asking what they like, what cut their eye and sharing the story behind the brand.

What worked (And What Didn't?)

The turnout was incredible. The crowd had great energy, and the atmosphere was electric thanks to the performing artists. The bartenders kept things flowing in the vendors were genuinely friendly. There was a sense of collaboration rather than competition. That made networking easy and natural.

Parking, however, was tight. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it's something to plan for next time. Maybe communicate better with attendees or arrive earlier to secure a good spot.

Lesson learned

Community matters more than perfection. People weren't looking for a flawless setup. They wanted connection. The conversations we had were the real win. And while logistics like parking can be stressful, they rarely overshadow a strong vibe and genuine engagement.

How it applies to others

If you're planning your first event, don't obsess over every detail. Focus on the experience you create for people, how they feel when they interact with you and your brand. The right crowd and atmosphere can make small hiccups irrelevant and always take notes on what worked and what did those lessons compound over time

Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported the brand. It means more than words can express special thanks to Miramiraonair for hosting and creating such an inspiring space into all the vendors and bartenders and artists who made the eventful alive. This is a milestone for us and we're grateful to assured it was such an amazing community.
